The Academy is a collection of five Georgian townhouses set in the city's literary district of Bloomsbury, 400 meters from Oxford Street. The 49 air-conditioned guestrooms are characterized by Georgian décor with Egyptian cotton bed linen and dark wood furnishings. DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Buses and underground trains run every few minutes from Heathro
w Airport into central London. The best way to get to the hotel
is by taking the Heathrow Express to Paddington station, then
an underground train to Tottenham Court Road Station which is 3
00 meters from the hotel. Black cabs are available at the airpo
rt and cost around £50 to the hotel. The hotel operates a
shuttle service for a fee.
