Located next door to Warren Street Tube station, and less than one mile from the West End, the Grafton is a British-colonial-style hotel dating from 1903. The 330 guestrooms all have televisions with pay movies, desks with built-in dataports, minibars and safes. One of London's most beautiful open spaces, Regent's Park opens its lake for rental boats during warmer months, and also has a junior boating pond for children, a small adventure playground, and acres of magnificent landscaped gardens. The shops of Oxford Street are half a mile away, as is the British Museum and the theatre district. Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are approximately two miles away. Heathrow Airport is 16 miles away (26 kilometres), around a 45 minute drive. The Heathrow Express train service to London Paddington Station leaves every 15 minutes. From Paddington, the 205 bus goes to Warren Street; alternatively a taxi will cost around 10 GBP. The airport is also on the Underground's Piccadilly Line, which takes passengers into Green Park and Leicester Square underground stations, where passengers can change for either the Victoria or Northern Line to Warren Street. London's black taxi cabs also service Heathrow Airport and cost 40-50 GBP to central London.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Heathrow airport drive north on the Inner Ring West. Keep
left and follow signs for M4/Central London as the road name ch
anges to Tunnel Rd. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto
the ramp and merge onto the M4. After 12 miles, the road name
changes to A4/Great West Rd. After five miles, turn right onto
the A4 (West Cromwell Rd). Merge onto Piccadilly and then turn
left onto Regent St at Piccadilly Circus. Turn right onto Morti
mer Street and bear right onto Goodge Street. Turn left onto To
ttenham Court Rd.
